About

Chelsea Phillips is a mother, business owner and artist living in Austin, Texas. Working in vivid watercolor and ink, she brings a variety of plants and animals into her portraits as an expression of her subjects’ inner worlds. She asks, if we could display our strengths, weaknesses, anxieties and joys, what would express them from the natural world? Chelsea uses her art as a meditation and as a way to explore how we connect with nature.
